After 3 minutes of play, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Chan Cho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Abadia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chan Cho might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Abadia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chan Cho ran back to his position shaking his head. Prospero Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chan Cho in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Luis Castillo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Chan Cho scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Abadia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prospero Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chan Cho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute Chan Cho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Diego Banegas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chan Cho in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Abadia saved Estudiantes de América from getting behind. When Octavio Bitxintxo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de América's protests and gave Octavio Bitxintxo a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Bitxintxo. In the 34th minute, Marciano Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chan Cho in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Abadia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Estudiantes de América's Prospero Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chan Cho in the 39th minute of play. Chan Cho took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Abadia. Prospero Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 48 minutes in the game, Rolando Erasto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Estudiantes de América's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guillermo Ramos who took care of the corner kick. Ramón Ortega made a great header on Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's corner, it was just that Estudiantes de América's Prospero Abadia managed to reach the ball for a save. Prospero Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chan Cho in the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Herrera came free, but Prospero Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Luis Herrera notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Estudiantes de América's Prospero Abadia. Prospero Abadia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 70 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Caetano. Luis Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Abadia having to interfere. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's Pablo Garcia De Paredes was substituted for Ramón Ortega. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chan Cho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Abadia saved Estudiantes de América from getting behind. When Norberto Errapel fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de América's protests and gave Norberto Errapel a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Errapel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The long shot by Luis Castillo in the 83rd minute really tested Prospero Abadia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC made a substitution. Sebastián Calderón replaced Goði Golbæk. Pαɳαɱα Jυɳισɾʂ FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
