One of Kingpins:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC BaLiSt:s goal. Mattias Asserlind had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Sergiu Marin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 4th minute, Sergiu Marin made a precise shot to the right of Mattias Asserlind. Kingpins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Lars-Erik Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Leonard Baran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingpins. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Braica in the 15th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Mattias Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Sven Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Baran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Lechințan. Mattias Asserlind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Muscaș in the 25th minute of the match. When Kingpins's Mikael Ekeberg in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BaLiSt's goalie prevented a goal. Kingpins's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven Bållström in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Tiberiu Achim got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mattias Asserlind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Braica, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Sergiu Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Baran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Mikael Ekeberg made the kick off in the second half. Florin Braica took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Asserlind. Mattias Asserlind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Marcus Rönn kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Rönn to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Ove Modig. Mattias Asserlind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Floreanu in the 65th minute of play. Leonard Baran made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ralf Olsmann sent off a good shot on target. Sergiu Marin's late challenge caught a Kingpins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergiu Marin helped the player get up and apologised. FC BaLiSt's Tudor Gheordunescu was substituted for Pompiliu Lechințan. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Bogdan Ungheanu replaced Mihăiţă Corbeanu. In the 69th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Marin to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Fernkvist to maneuver through the defense. FC BaLiSt's Florin Braica got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC BaLiSt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Ralf Olsmann scored to the left of an out of position Leonard Baran, making the score, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Ivarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Baran was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Lars-Erik Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Baran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
