Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garin Candina in the 91st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Min Ordoña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 94th minute, Melchor Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AFC Viola Gigliati were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
