Rui de Lima was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Ferrari's players had a chance to rest. Rui de Lima made a great header on S.C. Ferrari's corner, it was just that FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 12th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Lewkowicz to maneuver through the defense. The S.C. Ferrari fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when S.C. Ferrari's Willian Paes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Carlos Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Kluczyk's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Waldemar Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldemar Zjawin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Galvão in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Tomasz Kluczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Tomasz Kluczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Kluczyk in the 35th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper João Carlos Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Kluczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but João Carlos Oliveira made a huge save. 42 minutes into the game, Tomasz Kluczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LongeR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Ferrari the free kick. Willian Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Zjawin having to interfere. The FC LongeR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.C. Ferrari were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ziemowit Lewkowicz was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wit Gaszynski during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wit Gaszynski hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when FC LongeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wit Gaszynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC LongeR getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gilbert Czerniak hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC LongeR's Gilbert Czerniak got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Mangueira in the 74th minute of play forced FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes FC LongeR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rui de Lima who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rui de Lima almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC LongeR's Waldemar Zjawin did a great save. With splendid footwork Willian Paes arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 76th minute. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Deivid Queirós replaced Kléberson Sabóia. Ziemowit Lewkowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziemowit Lewkowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ziemowit Lewkowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Waldemar Zjawin was a little too slow when Aloísio Mangueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. Rui de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Zjawin having to interfere. Elano Galvão hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The S.C. Ferrari supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.C. Ferrari would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
