Spectators: 7973 (Terracing: 5981, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cosimo Gaeta kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Bisturi F.C. booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Piccirilli got free with Apolo Giraldo in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuele Donadoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Argoitz in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Apolo Giraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Gaeta. Emanuele Donadoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Jakes in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Alfredo Oroni got a free kick in the 20th minute. Emanuele Donadoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Giraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosimo Gaeta in the 28th minute. When Pedro Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikingos FC's protests and gave Pedro Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Gonzalo Argoitz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dario Mazzei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Argoitz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, Bisturi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Uguccioni to maneuver through the defense. Emanuele Donadoni made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Honorato Aureo sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Apolo Giraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Daniele Piccirilli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Giraldo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Argoitz. After 73 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Argoitz. Salvador Calvino hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Alfredo Oroni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apolo Giraldo. Vikingos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apolo Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Gaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
