Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camilo Acevedo started the match with the kick off. Julio Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billie Curtis in the 3rd minute of play. Ricki Gervais scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Quinten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinnie Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billie Curtis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Bradley Longstaffe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Acevedo. Julio Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricki Gervais in the 25th minute of the match. Julio Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie Curtis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Berdoi in the 36th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Bradley Longstaffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Vinnie Jones shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Quinten showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Acevedo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bradley Longstaffe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Gonzales was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Sajones F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Acevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billie Curtis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Julio Quinten made a huge save. Ricki Gervais received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Quinten came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricki Gervais slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. In the 69th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Toovey to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Sajones F.C.'s Camilo Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradley Longstaffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sajones F.C.'s Nunez Quinteros was substituted for Camilo Acevedo. Bradley Longstaffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradley Longstaffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Curtis in the 82nd minute of play forced Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sajones F.C.'s Julio Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricki Gervais in the 84th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Julio Quinten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Sajones F.C.'s Benjamin Berdoi got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Billie Curtis came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Egg Chasers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billie Curtis couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Egg Chasers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
