Marcelo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billie Curtis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinnie Jones. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Geovani Borges got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricki Gervais. In the 17th minute of the match, Geovani Borges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bradley Longstaffe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute Geovani Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Longstaffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinnie Jones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastian Selby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradley Longstaffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Borges's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Garry Dudgeon fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Garry Dudgeon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Garry Dudgeon hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Evaristo Meira sped through Egg Chasers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bradley Longstaffe. 41 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Bradley Longstaffe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Meira. Evaristo Meira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Geovani Borges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bradley Longstaffe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Gervais in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Meira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Danilo Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Figueira SC FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egg Chasers FC the free kick. Danilo Marques hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro do Valle in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Marcelo Medeiros got control of the ball when Ricki Gervais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maicon do Nascimento lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Luiz Guilherme Paiva was substituted for Evandro do Valle. In the 64th minute, Evaristo Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gareth Rowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Gervais in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Egg Chasers FC's Ricki Gervais ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Medeiros. Marcelo Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 74th play minute Dane Oldham came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcelo Medeiros. 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonsinho Donatello during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Afonsinho Donatello hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Marcelo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinnie Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ricki Gervais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Medeiros having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Marques to maneuver through the defense.
