After a defensive mix-up in Tabachana F.C.'s zone, Maximo Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tilemachos Manouselis came out of the goal and Maximo Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Honorio Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Tabachana F.C.'s Stergios Siontis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Berto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tabachana F.C. reached it. Vicente Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Tournas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stergios Siontis hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Tournas in the 22nd minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Vicente Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Avraam Lykoudis sped through Real Ayuntamiento CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente Berto. Vinicio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Sakis Karpetopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabachana F.C. and the Real Ayuntamiento CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47thth minute of the game Avraam Lykoudis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Ayuntamiento CF's Vicente Berto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Roman Mark made the kick off in the second half. Maximo Cai kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Lambis Savvakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tabachana F.C.'s Theofilos Papastavrou was substituted for Sakis Karpetopoulos. Vicente Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambis Savvakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Honorio Cordeara kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. With his leg Vicente Berto managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Tabachana F.C.'s Avraam Lykoudis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when Real Ayuntamiento CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
