Spectators: 7981 (Terracing: 5987, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iulian Doinaș started the match with the kick off. Iulian Doinaș took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Talledo. Mariano Talledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Pozo in the 14th minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Cristian Nicolescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Petre Maghiran 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Mariano Talledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petre Maghiran went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Velasco Oñate hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Velasco Oñate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U. de Tarapacá's José Alberto Alonso got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidelio Herboso to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Talledo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuel Marghescu. After 35 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Floricel. Blanco Paris kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Blanco Paris made the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Floricel hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Doinaș came free, but Mariano Talledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Ţugui charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Ţugui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iordache Ţugui hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blanco Paris in the 63rd minute of play forced Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Cristian Nicolescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Pozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cristian Nicolescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Ilie Tudoran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Doinaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Nicolescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Tomás Berau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Emanuel Pozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U. de Tarapacá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Pozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blanco Paris got free with Cristian Nicolescu in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Emanuel Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Paralia Athens players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
