The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Ohimai Tsubasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nicolescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Zawadzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Romeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, FC ICEWIND DALE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Gacek to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Paralia Athens's Mihăiţă Cobâlcescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Zawadzki. Emil Zawadzki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Maghiran got free with Emil Zawadzki in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27thth minute of the game Petre Maghiran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ICEWIND DALE's Emil Zawadzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Zawadzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Maghiran in the 30th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Emil Zawadzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petre Maghiran.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihăiţă Cobâlcescu to make the kick off. Emil Zawadzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Maghiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 88 minutes, Arkadiusz Jucha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC ICEWIND DALE and the Paralia Athens players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC ICEWIND DALE's Jerzy Jucha was substituted for Arkadiusz Jucha. 98 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Cobâlcescu came free, but Emil Zawadzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
