Spectators: 7961 (Terracing: 5972, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Gonzalo Canto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Karl-Johan Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brothers of Mercy and the Navalito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Karl-Johan Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Navalito booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marko Norström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Maximino Bear made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Svensson came free, but Maximino Bear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Pihlgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Maximino Bear made a huge save. Maximino Bear made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Svante Pihlgren sent off a good shot on target. Anders Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Bear having to interfere. Gustav Forssberg's late challenge caught a Navalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Forssberg helped the player get up and apologised. Gustav Forssberg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Kihlman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeraldo Gredig's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Maximino Bear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Svensson in the 18th minute of play. Karl-Erik Kihlman came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Navalito's Jeraldo Gredig. But to his dismay, Jeraldo Gredig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26th minute Anders Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Bear saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeraldo Gredig in the 42nd minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Kihlman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salbatore Eslava went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Navalito were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeraldo Gredig got free with Karl-Erik Kihlman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Canto in the 57th minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kihlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Kihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Canto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Navalito's Gonzalo Canto in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brothers of Mercy's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Navalito defense, Anders Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Bear. The Navalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Bear should have stopped the shot. Navalito's Severino Ensslin was substituted for Jeraldo Gredig. If Marko Norström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Salbatore Eslava came free, but Karl-Erik Kihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Severino Ensslin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Johan Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Carlos Hernán Amthauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Karl-Erik Kihlman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Fernán Rosselot. Anders Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Maximino Bear tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severino Ensslin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Salbatore Eslava fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Navalito's protests and gave Salbatore Eslava a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolomé Lavín during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when Navalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolomé Lavín didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Maralla. Gonzalo Canto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Kihlman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
