Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Svante Pihlgren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 10 minutes into the match, Anders Svensson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Jimmie Lundberg. Jimmie Lundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Tobias Forssberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Albert Eskilsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kihlman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mörknäs Electric Vikings reached it. 18 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Eskilsson came free, but Karl-Erik Kihlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Albert Eskilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Erik Kihlman. The goal made the score 1-1. Karl-Erik Kihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Eklund in the 24th minute of play. Brothers of Mercy's Mikael Åkesson got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marko Norström might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmie Lundberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marko Norström ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the game, Brothers of Mercy's Anders Svensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmie Lundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Karl-Erik Kihlman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from André Hammarbäck. The Mörknäs Electric Vikings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brothers of Mercy were winning 1-2.

The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Mörknäs Electric Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Eklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Pihlgren to maneuver through the defense. When Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Albert Eskilsson in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Bengt Eklund sped through Brothers of Mercy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl-Erik Kihlman. In the 91st minute Albert Eskilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Kihlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Örjan Hybbert put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Erik Kihlman. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mörknäs Electric Vikings fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brothers of Mercy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
