After 8 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Donecea. Edgar Gurlui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeramy LeBlanc in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Iulian Ghionea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L and the Khachatryan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iulian Ghionea kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Edgar Gurlui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeramy LeBlanc went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Foster Rivers kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gigel Nichita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Javier Burroughs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Edgar Gurlui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save C Ａ R D I N Ａ L from getting a goal against them. Peter Gamble hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lenny MacDowell hit a great ball. Claudiu Gioagă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's goalkeeper Edgar Gurlui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Gamble. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Jeramy LeBlanc scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Gurlui, making the score, 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Chihaia came free, but Javier Burroughs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Sorin Chihaia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keith Arden made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Sorin Chihaia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Sorin Chihaia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Javier Burroughs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bryon Waters charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryon Waters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryon Waters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Burroughs didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. Javier Burroughs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Nichita in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Gigel Nichita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L and the Khachatryan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Gigel Nichita got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Rashad Acosta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Gurlui showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Nichita in the 68th minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Javier Burroughs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Monte Porter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Marian Macrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C Ａ R D I N Ａ L getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marian Macrea hit a great ball. Monte Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Javier Burroughs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Nichita, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rashad Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudiu Gioagă took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Burroughs. Khachatryan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
