In the 7th minute, CKS Zbiersk's Alfred Balkiewicz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfred Balkiewicz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CKS Zbiersk protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfred Balkiewicz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Glauco Correia was substituted for José Paulo Romero. 6 minutes into the game, one of CKS Zbiersk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Raimundo Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Sochacki in the 13th minute of play. CKS Zbiersk's Jacek Sochacki quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mandaguari Goiano in the 40th minute of play forced CKS Zbiersk's goalkeeper Wincent Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mandaguari Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mandaguari Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jacek Sochacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Favoretto got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ricardo Quirino. Raimundo Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bogdan Burdalski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, CKS Zbiersk failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
