Spectators: 8020 (Terracing: 6017, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) After 4 minutes, Mihály Csontos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the A.C. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihály Csontos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A.C. Patagonia's Alfredo Corrente got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihály Földesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Róbert Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Paris in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of A.C. Patagonia booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. János Major didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Major to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Angelo Mancini managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Patagonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Mancini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbert Kormos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Paris in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Győrffy got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Alfredo Corrente came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the A.C. Patagonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Corrente couldn't finish the play. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Paris, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Goffredo in the 23rd minute of the match. Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Paris in the 25th minute of play. If Zsolt Vörös had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when Dénes Boross tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Amedeo Baldassarre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbert Kormos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Mihály Csontos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Mancini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Róbert Kormos. Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredo Corrente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Zsolt Vörös got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes, A.C. Patagonia's Angelo Mancini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Róbert Kormos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.C. Patagonia reached it. With an all-out effort, Szombathely Squirrels's Francesco Toldo threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mihály Földesi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Moreno Torricelli in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Róbert Kormos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 54th minute, A.C. Patagonia's Edoardo Paris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Róbert Kormos. Róbert Kormos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Ennio Tesone replaced Arturo Maldini. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Corrente in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Gusztáv Győrffy got a free kick in the 65th minute. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Paris, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's Alfredo Corrente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Róbert Kormos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Gusztáv Győrffy. After 73 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Alfredo Corrente made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbert Kormos was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 77th minute of the match Mihály Csontos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mihály Csontos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mihály Csontos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Corrente in the 79th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Corrente. Róbert Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Corrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Corrente in the 94th minute of the match. A.C. Patagonia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
