Krisztián György hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Hipólito Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipólito Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Prates hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Ferenc Jászberényi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's António Vasconcelos didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Prates in the 13th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Róbert Kormos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dénes Boross got free with António Vasconcelos in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Carrada d´Ansiedade FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Boaventura. In the 16th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihály Földesi to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Róbert Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Pessoa in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Szilárd Csikós. Róbert Kormos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Pessoa in the 24th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Carrada d´Ansiedade FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Saldanha. When Zsolt Vörös came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Szombathely Squirrels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Vörös couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hipólito Salgado in the 37th minute. The corner led Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's Hipólito Salgado to fire away a dangerous shot which Róbert Kormos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eurico Boaventura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Róbert Kormos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrada d´Ansiedade FC's zone, Zsolt Vörös stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Zsolt Vörös tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Pessoa came free, but Róbert Kormos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Mihály Földesi made the kick off in the second half. Róbert Kormos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bento Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Pessoa in the 68th minute. If Viriato Pessoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Gusztáv Győrffy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbert Kormos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Pessoa in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Szombathely Squirrels's Róbert Kormos got control of the ball when Viriato Pessoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabrício Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Róbert Kormos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrada d´Ansiedade FC.
