The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hilário Viegas hit a great ball. Behe Garay might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Behe Garay ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the game, Josué Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Braga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Husky the free kick. In the 21st minute, Frisco Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Husky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Felip Etxeberria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Figueiras in the 28th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Moisés Álvares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Braga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Husky the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leal Antas to make the kick off. Caetano Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Felip Etxeberria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Josué Pacheco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frisco Bueno in the 59th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Adelino Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Braga booed when C.A. Husky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anko Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Antas came free, but Felip Etxeberria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A. Husky's Mustafá Garzon got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hermínio Leal hit a great ball. When Belmiro Martínez came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the C.A. Husky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Martínez couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Frisco Bueno from a close distance when the talented Adelino Coelho managed to make a qualified save. SC Braga's players were relieved. Anko Montero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anko Montero kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. SC Braga's Adelino Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Behe Garay came free, but Adelino Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Leal to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. Husky walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
