CAM Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Fagondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Edgard Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, CAM Football Club's Roman Umbruso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fabrício Monteiro's late challenge caught a CAM Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabrício Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Fabrício Monteiro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th match minute, CAM Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Hermínio Leal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, CAM Football Club's Laureano Ur got a free kick in the 34th minute. Edgard Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half CAM Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

SC Braga's Adelino Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Fagondo in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match CAM Football Club got a corner. SC Braga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgard Chan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 53 minutes, Roman Umbruso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Braga's Adelino Coelho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Fabrício Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAM Football Club's Jonathan Kismi was substituted for Bernabe Eztebe. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Fabrício Monteiro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Domingo Mikolas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAM Football Club and the SC Braga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Domingo Mikolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leal Antas in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Fagondo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelino Coelho saved SC Braga from getting behind. In the 70th minute Fernando Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Antas came free, but Ciriaco Herensuge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match, Fernando Fagondo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adelino Coelho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edgard Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Caetano Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermínio Leal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jonathan Kismi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CAM Football Club played a much better game than SC Braga and deserved their victory. The SC Braga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
