An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙鹏永 in the 21st minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when 龙鹏永 came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, 沈岩诚 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Neron. 沈岩诚 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 44th minute of the match, 沈岩诚 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abel Neron was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 麦卫志 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Cordarin in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Leandro Cordarin made the kick off in the second half. 麦卫志 made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Placido Cordarell sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Lorenzo Berto put in a rough tackle. Placido Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 麦卫志 having to interfere.
