Spectators: 8507 (Terracing: 6381, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 170) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vilhelm Palmekrone took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 13 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Folmar Skårstad. In the 14th minute, Florencio Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Gilberto Inautzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Balvanera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monks in Robes the free kick. Gilberto Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Bertil Duerlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Duerlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Jose Aritza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orla Nevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Mouritz Søjbjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orla Nevin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Santiago Sosa. A hard shot 27 in the game by Eusebio Lehoi from a close distance when the talented Orla Nevin managed to make a qualified save. Monks in Robes's players were relieved. Orla Nevin made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jose Aritza sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Aritza in the 31st minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Orla Nevin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Leandro Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orla Nevin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Leandro Cordarin rounded Monks in Robes's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Palmekrone in the 43rd minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orla Nevin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Cordarin in the 45th minute of the match. Eusebio Lehoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Orla Nevin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Cordarin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Bertil Duerlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monks in Robes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Konstantin Tvilling in the 53rd minute. Konstantin Tvilling made a great header on Monks in Robes's corner, it was just that Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron managed to reach the ball for a save. When Jose Aritza fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Balvanera's protests and gave Jose Aritza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jose Aritza hit a great ball. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Teo Oinatz replaced Octavio Pes. Deportivo Balvanera's Rene Restu was substituted for Ramiro Quin. Deportivo Balvanera's Bonifacio Petrigai was substituted for Florencio Paz. After 63 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Lorits. 70 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Cordarin came free, but Orla Nevin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Lehoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Restu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orla Nevin. Orla Nevin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Restu in the 89th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Orla Nevin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orla Nevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Deportivo Balvanera were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Monks in Robes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Sosa took the corner. Orla Nevin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Restu in the 96th minute of play. Monks in Robes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
