Spectators: 8573 (Terracing: 6431, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 171) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leandro Cordarin got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Timoteo Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 3 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Chaime. With a little luck, ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie got control of the ball when Eusebio Lehoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 6 minutes, Eusebio Lehoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Balvanera and the ZORZAL01 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaudencio Richie came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Eusebio Lehoi. But to his dismay, Eusebio Lehoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leandro Cordarin in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaudencio Richie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute, Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Venancio Chaime the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Balvanera protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Venancio Chaime had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Balvanera! The referee gave ZORZAL01 a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonel Unai, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Lehoi got free with Gaudencio Richie in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Nardo in the 35th minute of the match. Abel Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Cortez in the 37th minute of play. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Cortez in the 46th minute of play. Gaudencio Richie was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Leandro Cordarin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leandro Cordarin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Nardo to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Cortez. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Florencio Paz replaced Octavio Pes. Deportivo Balvanera's Teo Oinatz was substituted for Lorenzo Berto. In the 70th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. When Leandro Cordarin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Balvanera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Cordarin couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Cordarin came free, but Gaudencio Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Richie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Eusebio Lehoi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie. Gaudencio Richie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaudencio Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Aritza, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Bonifacio Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Unai in the 94th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Balvanera were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ZORZAL01 for a fine match.
