The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AC Collins's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Baltasar Gaitan scored to the left of an out of position Christian Cannone, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Cable a Tierra's Pablo Lizzio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Lemma came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Scotti in the 14th minute of play. Alfonso Santangelo's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Santangelo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC Collins getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alfonso Santangelo hit a great ball. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Che Reale, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Che Reale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Scotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nacho Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When AC Collins's Che Reale in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Christian Cannone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 53rd minute of the match. Christian Cannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Turi in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Scotti got free with Nacho Gonzalez in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Reynaldo Lauren got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Mantzio. Christian Cannone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 73 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Lemma came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
