With a little luck, Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Rodrigo Bueno got control of the ball when Pablo Lizzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Froylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Baldomero Gaitan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Bueno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Gerazan in the 8th minute of play forced Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ got a freekick which was hit by Franco Milazzo. 13 minutes into the match, Pablo Lizzio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodrigo Bueno, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Lizzio came free, but Rodrigo Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes, Franco Milazzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franco Milazzo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Milazzo in the 27th minute of play. Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelo Costas in the 28th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cable a Tierra's goalie and right to Constantino Lucado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cable a Tierra's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cable a Tierra's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Milazzo in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Gerazan got free with Rodrigo Bueno in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Bueno made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Pablo Lizzio sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s Jesus Eyague was substituted for Domingo Millano. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Lizzio to make the kick off. Rodrigo Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Franco Milazzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Milazzo in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cable a Tierra's Maximino Timo was substituted for Reynaldo Lauren. In the 71st match minute, Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Lucado to maneuver through the defense. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Milazzo in the 74th minute of the match. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵'s goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vł₦ɆłⱤØ ₣₵ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cable a Tierra.
