After a defensive mix-up in FCFiratRom's zone, Dacian Jurăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zekai Hilal came out of the goal and Dacian Jurăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when FCFiratRom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sait Ülkümen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zekai Hilal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Jurăscu in the 5th minute of play. Zekai Hilal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 8th minute. Filip Hosus short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Zekai Hilal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 12 minutes, Dacian Jurăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Jurăscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nejat Maruf in the 14th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zekai Hilal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Zekai Hilal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ciprian Gaiță fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Ciprian Gaiță a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes FC Cosula-BTF- got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Gaiță. Ovidiu Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Er Can in the 30th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Er Can came free, but Ovidiu Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Er Can, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Nejat Maruf to strike the kick off in the second half. Bahattin Enfal charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bahattin Enfal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, FCFiratRom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahattin Enfal to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Bădila to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Marin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Er Can in the 59th minute. When Petre Bogătan fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cosula-BTF-'s protests and gave Petre Bogătan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Petre Bogătan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FCFiratRom's Mehmet Emre Olcay was substituted for Bahattin Enfal. 69 minutes into the match, Dacian Jurăscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zekai Hilal. FCFiratRom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dacian Jurăscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. FC Cosula-BTF- made a substitution. Aurel Lăceanu replaced Petre Bogătan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Jurăscu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zekai Hilal saved FCFiratRom from getting behind. Aşık Kutsel hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. FC Cosula-BTF- made a substitution. Olimpiu Teodorescu replaced Filip Hosu. In the 81st minute, Aşık Kutsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Jurăscu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zekai Hilal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play.
