Spectators: 8477 (Terracing: 6359, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Cebo made the kick off which started today's match. Severino Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Fermin Ubarna in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Hornos's Claudio Fonso. Luis Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Roland during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vladimiro Roland hit a great ball. Yupandú FC's Luis Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Estevez in the 24th minute of play. Marciano Rencio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Bernardo Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernardo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Bernardo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Severino Roano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Ciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Los Hornos made a substitution. Melchor Raymond replaced Wilfredo Innocenzio. The wind increased when Eustaquio Omero made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Iruinea charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Iruinea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Roberto Iruinea got a free kick in the 54th minute. Luis Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Omero in the 64th minute of play. Fermin Ubarna charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Ubarna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when Yupandú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Petri made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tomas Cebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Fonso to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Cebo got free with Leopoldo Petri in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Ciano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Yupandú FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Los Hornos to leave the ground with a draw.
