Eustaquio Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pablo Erasto made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Omero to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Rojas in the 35th minute of the match. Eustaquio Omero in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pablo Erasto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the game, Lucas Reyes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hornos the free kick. Lucas Reyes hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Los Hornos's Humberto Iyan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. La Candela FC:s Pablo Erasto showed great skill when he stopped Eustaquio Omero:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Hornos had won after a very even match.
