Spectators: 8471 (Terracing: 6354, Seating: 1948, VIP seats: 169) 7 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Omero notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo. Nunez Astudillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Estevez in the 17th minute of play forced Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Nunez Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Sabin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Sabin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Patricio Sabin got a free kick in the 20th minute. Bernardo Estevez struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Nunez Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hornos. With a little luck, Estrellas de Caballito's Nunez Astudillo got control of the ball when Bernardo Estevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Estevez. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Los Hornos's Melchor Raymond was substituted for Wilfredo Innocenzio. If Cipriano Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estrellas de Caballito made a substitution. Amadeo Uxio replaced Severiano Hustaz. Estrellas de Caballito made a substitution. In the 85th minute Teofilo Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Roberto Iruinea got a free kick in the 90th minute. Higinio Luzeas short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Leopoldo Petri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Los Hornos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Claudio Fonso hit a great ball.
