Spectators: 8409 (Terracing: 6307, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pornsak Seearamrungruang started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ivar Meri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chatmongkon Borvornpattarakomol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martti Asmer. JK Kurevere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Lugano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Kuuno Kadastu scored to the left of an out of position Dieter Gärtner, making the score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, JK Kurevere's Dieter Gärtner threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ilmar Kurg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 12 minutes of play, FC Lugano's Pornsak Seearamrungruang made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martti Asmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martti Asmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulric Donsante, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. FC Lugano's Dieter Gärtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmar Kurg in the 16th minute of play. After 23 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Ulric Donsante. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ulric Donsante hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Herbert Hanson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dieter Gärtner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ulric Donsante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulric Donsante struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Martti Asmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lugano. Pornsak Seearamrungruang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Martti Asmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ivar Meri fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Kurevere's protests and gave Ivar Meri a yellow card for diving instead. Ivar Meri hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes, FC Lugano's Chatmongkon Borvornpattarakomol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martti Asmer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lugano reached it. Tito Waechter kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Kuuno Kadastu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dieter Gärtner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dieter Gärtner made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ago Leks sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the game, Pornsak Seearamrungruang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Martti Asmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kuuno Kadastu made a kick off. Dieter Gärtner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilmar Kurg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Martti Asmer made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ulric Donsante sent off a good shot on target. Ilmar Kurg scored 3-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dieter Gärtner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Lugano's Matteo Gartenmann was substituted for Ulric Donsante. FC Lugano's Gauthier Lepre was substituted for Fidelio Haller. JK Kurevere's Martti Asmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Gartenmann in the 68th minute of play. During the 70th minute of the match Ivar Meri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivar Meri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 71 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Meri. Martti Asmer made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Matteo Gartenmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Henri Viksi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martti Asmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matteo Gartenmann in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Tito Waechter got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Stephen Vicente got a free kick in the 85th minute. Martti Asmer made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Matteo Gartenmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Matteo Gartenmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martti Asmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 98 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Chatmongkon Borvornpattarakomol. JK Kurevere were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Lugano for a fine match.
