When Primitivo Chago fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Gallos's protests and gave Primitivo Chago a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Chago kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Ulisses Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HollywooDogs and the Los Gallos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Mete Gøl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guido Luar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Los Gallos's Primitivo Chago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vânderson Nogueira. Vânderson Nogueira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Gøl came free, but Guido Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Alagoano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Vânderson Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Bilintx in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Mitxaut to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Glauco Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guido Luar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. HollywooDogs were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Los Gallos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulisses Leal took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Gilson Valle managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gilson Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Luar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, HollywooDogs's Ricardo Bittencourt got a free kick in the 44th minute. Elpidio Raebert got in the 44th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Vânderson Nogueira and thus it was 2-3. Teodosio Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Los Gallos's Ramon Corderun was substituted for Danilo Ireno. In the 49th minute, Teodosio Montxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Gallos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulisses Leal was slow to take the kick. During this time HollywooDogs's players had a chance to rest. Ulisses Leal made a great header on HollywooDogs's corner, it was just that Los Gallos's Guido Luar managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

In the 58th minute Mete Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Luar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Eulalio Bilintx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vânderson Nogueira. HollywooDogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Vânderson Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Neron in the 77th minute of the match. Ricardo Bittencourt hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Vidal during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, HollywooDogs's Mete Gøl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Luar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. After a rather tough play, Los Gallos's Ramon Corderun got a free kick in the 94th minute. The HollywooDogs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HollywooDogs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
