The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Barja got free with Luiz Gustavo Negri in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Asensio Berzosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Roneros F.C.'s Luiz Gustavo Negri threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Walter Luzuriaga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aurélien Tchouaméni hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Barja. After 19 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Noel Tavares. With a little luck, Ique Football Club's Luiz Gustavo Negri got control of the ball when Héctor Gainzarain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Héctor Gainzarain, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Roneros F.C.'s Hernando Vilaprenyo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Gustavo Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Xandro Alamon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, one of Roneros F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Roneros F.C.. Diego Rezende shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Luiz Gustavo Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernando Vilaprenyo in the 37th minute of the match. Agustin Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Walter Luzuriaga made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Walter Luzuriaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Gustavo Negri. Ique Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Luzuriaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 56th minute Hernando Vilaprenyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Christiano Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s Figueroa Aviñante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Gustavo Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurélien Tchouaméni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Rafael Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Hernando Vilaprenyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roneros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ique Football Club the free kick. A collision led to Roneros F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hernando Vilaprenyo hit a great ball. Asensio Berzosa made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Diogo Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hernando Vilaprenyo came free, but Luiz Gustavo Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ique Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Roneros F.C..
