In the 48th minute, Saverio Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 58 played minutes Charmander City got a freekick which was hit by Felix Gaufred. When Felix Gaufred fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charmander City's protests and gave Felix Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Rodriguez Iribarria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roneros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguez Iribarria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 minutes of play, Roneros F.C.'s Walter Luzuriaga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Anaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonzalo Barja was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Inocencio Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernando Vilaprenyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Luzuriaga in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Anaya saved Charmander City from getting behind. When Saverio Ermano fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charmander City's protests and gave Saverio Ermano a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Charmander City got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Ermano. 98 minutes into the match, Charmander City's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Luzuriaga came free, but Inocencio Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
