The supporters of The Valar booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nano Mitrashkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. DARAS's Zahari Kerekov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Avram Zubaşcu, made in the 7th minute of the game. In the 10th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragan Mangezov to maneuver through the defense. Vute Baliev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Postelnicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisc Ghionescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Postelnicescu came free, but Vute Baliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisc Ghionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Nenchev in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 22nd minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Valar! The Valar:s Francisc Ghionescu showed great skill when he stopped Gonzo Ivanov:s penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Gonzo Ivanov notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The Valar's Francisc Ghionescu. Francisc Ghionescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Postelnicescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Gonzo Ivanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Valar's Francisc Ghionescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, The Valar's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ivanov came free, but Francisc Ghionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Toader Bălace had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olimpiu Postelnicescu made a kick off. In the 51st minute, DARAS's Toni Nenchev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisc Ghionescu. Francisc Ghionescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Mădălin Rotariu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Postelnicescu came free, but Vute Baliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nano Mitrashkov hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of The Valar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Valar. DARAS made a substitution. Paolo Rossi replaced Toni Nenchev. 69 minutes into the game, Virgil Meleșcanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Valar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DARAS the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Valar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! The Valar:s Francisc Ghionescu showed great skill when he stopped Gonzo Ivanov:s penalty. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Antim Karamanski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 75th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Francisc Ghionescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes The Valar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nano Mitrashkov who took care of the corner kick. The corner led DARAS's Nano Mitrashkov to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisc Ghionescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 84 minutes of play The Valar's Virgil Meleșcanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Virgil Meleșcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Paolo Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Francisc Ghionescu made a huge save. Vute Baliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Postelnicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DARAS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
