SICARIOS Fútbol Club's Valerio Azaola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Postelnicescu in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SICARIOS Fútbol Club's zone, Olimpiu Postelnicescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valerio Azaola came out of the goal and Olimpiu Postelnicescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horia Boerescu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Washington Larreta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisc Ghionescu skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
