When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Uriel Berriotxoa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jan Moberg to make any attempt to save it. Baxters Boys's Jan Moberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Berriotxoa in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Baxters Boys's Jan Moberg got control of the ball when Rene Diagur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Tham in the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Tham to make the kick off.
