The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Per Strömqvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Angel Rubio came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Baxters Boys's Edmund Olsman. But to his dismay, Edmund Olsman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Soroca F.C.'s Nicklas Füllkrug got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Moberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Lizbeth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match August Palm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Rubio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Evert Lindström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Per Strömqvist got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ildefonso Lizbeth struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jan Moberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soroca F.C.. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Quirze didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Uriel Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 61st minute, Nicklas Füllkrug ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Moberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Soroca F.C.'s Angel Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Abelsson in the 64th minute of play. Jan Moberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Lizbeth, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Baxters Boys's Per Strömqvist pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Nicklas Füllkrug got a free kick in the 76th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Faustino Weterio was substituted for Silverio Delfino. In the 78th minute, Nicklas Füllkrug hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ildefonso Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Lizbeth in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan Moberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angel Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Olsman in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
