Toni Nenchev's late challenge caught a Made in Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Nenchev helped the player get up and apologised. Toni Nenchev hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Iliya Kasabov fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DARAS's protests and gave Iliya Kasabov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iliya Kasabov to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the DARAS defense, Jacob Sagasti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vute Baliev. The DARAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vute Baliev should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzo Ivanov was the one to do the kick off. Nahia Gago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
