After 18 played minutes Made in Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Lopez Nieto. Tulkas Vala charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tulkas Vala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Labora's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisc Ghionescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lopez Nieto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisc Ghionescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Damian Dăscălescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Farto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Labora to make the kick off.
