Francisc Ghionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Aparecido in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Emerson Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gandalf Grey. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Dăscălescu got free with Emerson Leão in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Valar's Francisc Ghionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mineiro in the 16th minute of play. When Olimpiu Pascu fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Valar's protests and gave Olimpiu Pascu a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the ITAFUT 4EVER defense, Olimpiu Postelnicescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Leão. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Leão should have stopped the shot. Emerson Leão made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Damian Dăscălescu sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the game, Orlando Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Francisc Ghionescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sorin Răduța kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Beto Aparecido charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Aparecido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Beto Aparecido hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Cléber Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Postelnicescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gandalf Grey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, ITAFUT 4EVER's Beto Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisc Ghionescu. Francisc Ghionescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. ITAFUT 4EVER's Edgar Baiano was substituted for Beto Aparecido. When Beto Viana came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ITAFUT 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Viana couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Perez during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gandalf Grey hit a great ball. The The Valar manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ITAFUT 4EVER to win.
