The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo José Rodrigues showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Queluzito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Nando Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Cortez. Olds School Pepo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fernan Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Lima in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton de Amaral in the 20th minute of play forced Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Fernan Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Oskarbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Rodrigues having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Oskarbi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernan Cortez came out and tried to block the shot, but Nando Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 57th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Fernan Cortez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Olds School Pepo's Emanuel Tancredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo José Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aírton de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match.
