Marco Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Mauro de Salles made a huge save. Mauro de Salles made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Paul Weller sent off a good shot on target. Mauro de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Weller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯News at 11 booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯News at 11's goalkeeper Ernani Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Queirós during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mauro de Salles was a little too slow when Marco Dias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Wilson Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Vidal couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The ≮王者归来≯News at 11 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nova Iguaçu MZFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
