When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Acácio Ortiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Andres Erramun to make any attempt to save it. Andres Erramun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Linares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Acácio Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Erramun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Ortiz in the 19th minute of play forced AKDmicos FC's goalkeeper Andres Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AKDmicos FC booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Erramun made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Acácio Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Ortiz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Erramun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Acácio Ortiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Andres Erramun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão Linares in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Erramun saved AKDmicos FC from getting behind. A collision led to AKDmicos FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alfredo Esquipula hit a great ball. With a little luck, AKDmicos FC's Andres Erramun got control of the ball when Acácio Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Acácio Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andres Erramun, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Linares was the one to do the kick off. AKDmicos FC's Andres Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Linares in the 76th minute of play. Franklin Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Mateo Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKDmicos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Paio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Acácio Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Imbituba - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while AKDmicos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
