After 8 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Queiroz. 13 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Kajdasz came free, but Mauro de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jailson de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fryderyk Mentis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Vidal in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Nova Iguaçu MZFC booed when Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Ludzia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Fryderyk Mentis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II's zone, Paulo Renato Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fryderyk Mentis came out of the goal and Paulo Renato Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. Dudu Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Bartoszek. Fajna Paczka Kiwaczka II succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nova Iguaçu MZFC had controlled the match.
