Luís Eduardo Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Eduardo Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Salvadore in the 71st minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shuspendemo's Melchor Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Shuspendemo from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Eger took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Cordaro. Melchor Cordaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Doni Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Gol in the 85th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Senna.
