Emerson Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Vochin in the 5th minute of play. With 8 minutes on the clock, Basarab Achimescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Válbson Schmidt took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Nițoi. Horaţiu Nițoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Horaţiu Nițoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamine Xande in the 21st minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Horaţiu Nițoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Codruț Ichimescu hit a great ball. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emerson Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Vochin in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Panait Vochin hit a great ball. Emanuel Hristea kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Horaţiu Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Musiala in the 41st minute of play. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Horaţiu Nițoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney de Queirós in the 44th minute of play. Horaţiu Nițoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válbson Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half New Joinville - FSCMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Válbson Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Horaţiu Nițoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidiu Pătrașcu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emerson Chaves saved New Joinville - FSCMZ from getting behind. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Nițoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute Iulian Taşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Ichimescu. Horaţiu Nițoi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Válbson Schmidt. In the 90th minute Lamine Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho de Souza took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Nițoi. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching New Joinville - FSCMZ's performance.
