The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey McLiam Wilson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Uriel Lauren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gez Winship showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Howling Dawn U18's Axl Rose in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Howling Dawn U18 from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Romulo Palos put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gez Winship. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Way in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Gerard Way made a precise shot to the right of Gez Winship. Memphis Grizzlies's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Howling Dawn U18 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Luis Cuciuffo was the one to do the kick off. Gez Winship made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axl Rose in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Howling Dawn U18 were awarded a corner. Uriel Lauren went to the cornerflag to take it. Gez Winship made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Way in the 55th minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Way in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th minute Gerard Way shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gez Winship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
