León Gala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 22 played minutes Real Llull de Reus got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Borrás. After 24 played minutes Real Llull de Reus got a freekick which was hit by Aarón Domingo. Real Llull de Reus's Raul Antón managed to work through New Joinville - FSCMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Raul Antón dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 39th minute of the match Loreto Candamil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson Chaves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Raul Antón made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cefero Gala got free with Emerson Chaves in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, Lamine Xande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of León Gala. Real Llull de Reus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lamine Xande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 63rd minute, Raul Antón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Robinho de Souza replaced Xande Musiala. Real Llull de Reus's Polo Bouzas was substituted for Loreto Candamil. León Gala was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
