After 11 minutes, Harry Johnson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Memphis Grizzlies and the StardustRevolution players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Harry Johnson got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, StardustRevolution's Melchor Polo got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Memphis Grizzlies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StardustRevolution the free kick. After 16 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Dave Fleming. In the 21st match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Johnson to maneuver through the defense. José Luis Cuciuffo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Peyo having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Melchor Polo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gez Winship. Melchor Polo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 31st minute Dave Fleming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, StardustRevolution's Melchor Polo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. StardustRevolution's Everardo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Van Der Elst in the 36th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Franky Van Der Elst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but StardustRevolution's Everardo Peyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Luis Cuciuffo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Peyo saved StardustRevolution from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Dave Fleming got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, StardustRevolution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Pueblo to maneuver through the defense. Michael Kellaway hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. David Quirze was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Luis Cuciuffo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, StardustRevolution's Saverio Malvin got a free kick in the 50th minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Polo in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Polo came free, but Gez Winship reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Memphis Grizzlies's Brian Patterson was substituted for Patrick Borrowdale. After 68 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Ian Webb. In the 72ndth minute of the game Peter Wiltshire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but StardustRevolution's Everardo Peyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Memphis Grizzlies's Everardo Peyo threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Wiltshire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. StardustRevolution's Everardo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Wiltshire in the 75th minute of play. Everardo Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Fleming in the 80th minute of play. Gez Winship took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Polo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gez Winship. Gez Winship dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Brian Patterson fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Memphis Grizzlies's protests and gave Brian Patterson a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Melchor Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StardustRevolution's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Polo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Peter Wiltshire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Wiltshire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Peyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. StardustRevolution had won after a very even match.
