Lancelot Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Horaţiu Nițoi made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Antón was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Raul Antón put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Horaţiu Nițoi. Horaţiu Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Antón in the 55th minute of play. Iulian Taşcu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Real Llull de Reus's Polo Bouzas was substituted for Loreto Candamil.
