In the 5th minute, Big Brainovich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Terrasi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Fairbairn saved Rangers FC from getting behind. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rangers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fred Amorim was slow to take the kick. During this time The Heren Istarion's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which A.J. De Cat managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Patrick Sporran got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fabiano Terrasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fergus Fairbairn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The Heren Istarion's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fred Amorim in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Gilespie in the 19th minute of play forced The Heren Istarion's goalkeeper Lukas Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Patrick Sporran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangers FC and the The Heren Istarion players grew even worse after the yellow card. The The Heren Istarion fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when The Heren Istarion's Fabiano Terrasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Gilespie in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Drewitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's Fabiano Terrasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergus Fairbairn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Tyler McCraw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Heren Istarion's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ryan McIver was slow to take the kick. During this time Rangers FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ryan McIver got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lukas Drewitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Heren Istarion's Fred Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Big Brainovich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Lima in the 46th minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Danny Gilespie made the kick off in the second half. When The Heren Istarion's Fabiano Terrasi in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Terrasi in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Danny Gilespie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lukas Drewitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Adelino Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Fairbairn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Adelino Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Terrasi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fergus Fairbairn. That made the score 1-7 in the 75 minute of play. Fergus Fairbairn made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Big Brainovich sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Christopher Öberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fergus Fairbairn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. Connor Alsop's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lukas Drewitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Lima came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over The Heren Istarion could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rangers FC throughout the match.
