Prospero Petri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Bertil Hagberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Patay Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Preuss came free, but Cayetano Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patay Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Prospero Petri in the 12th minute. Norberto Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bertil Hagberg made a huge save. Cayetano Francho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elton Safadão's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Leandro Astigar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Hagberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Petri's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Hagberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Patay Juniors's Prospero Petri. But to his dismay, Prospero Petri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Prospero Petri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Hagberg was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 56th minute of the match Patay Juniors got a corner. ≮Empire≯风云☆泉州黄狮☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Petri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Patay Juniors's Hilario Cai to fire away a dangerous shot which Bertil Hagberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bertil Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Petri in the 60th minute of play. Bertil Hagberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Petri's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 64th match minute, ≮Empire≯风云☆泉州黄狮☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Preuss to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Petri in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Hagberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fausto Preuss came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the ≮Empire≯风云☆泉州黄狮☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Preuss couldn't finish the play. Patay Juniors were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after ≮Empire≯风云☆泉州黄狮☆'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prospero Petri took the corner. After taking down the ball on Patay Juniors's corner Hilario Cai fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bertil Hagberg quite easily take care of the ball. Patay Juniors's Ceferino Monte got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertil Hagberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Petri in the 78th minute of play. Prospero Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Hagberg having to interfere. Fausto Preuss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Cayetano Francho made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Monte in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
